OUR HISTORY

Vale Indústria started its activities in September 1990, being one of the first factories specialized in the removal and treatment of oily waste from the naval industry.

PIONEER IN RECOVERY AND LEADER IN SOUTHERN BRAZIL

In the early 1990s, Brazil established a new industrial and foreign trade policy with market opening and commercial integration, eliminating most non-tariff barriers and defining a schedule for reducing import tariffs.

With market opening, there was a growing demand for better infrastructure to receive more vessels navigating the Brazilian coast and the establishment of new shipping routes for cargo transportation.

This increase in vessel traffic also required better structures for ship waste reception. Seeing this demand, the company became a pioneer in southern Brazil in the management and recovery of oil waste, focusing on servicing vessels.
